Windsor, Vermont knows how to do 'street fairs.' Yesterday I attended the annual Autumn Moon Festival in downtown Windsor as a vendor and what a night it was.
In the past, I'm told, Mother Nature has thrown every manner of element at the festivities - from rain and snow to scorching heat - but apparently she was feeling jovial this year. The air was crisp and cool, the sun was shining and the smell of fall was all around. Children and adults of all ages enjoyed the perfect weather and the abundance of food and activities on hand.
I met so many new friends while enjoying the music and dancing and fireworks. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to ask about my work or buy a book. Special thanks to my mom who kept me company and helped me set-up, along with Bob Ayotte (aka, "Papa Smurf") and friend. Many hands make light work. Until next year, keep reaching for the stars!
